Decentralized Autonomous Initial Coin Offerings (DAICO)

A Decentralized Autonomous Initial Coin Offerings or DAICO, pertains to a fundraising methodology that combines the advantages offered by Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs) and Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs). The DAICO provides investors with greater control, transparency, and mitigates some risks associated with the traditional ICO model of fundraising.

Much like ICOs, DAICOs permit start-ups to perform crowdsourcing without having to acquire venture capital or other traditional means of financing while safeguarding against poor management of capital, issues in governance, and exit scams.
