I’m a decentralization disciple with chronic trust issues and a tinfoil hat collection that’s starting to look like a fashion statement. I gave a CBDC wallet a spin out of curiosity, and honestly, it felt less like using a crypto wallet and more like asking my bank for permission to blink. Compared to the freedom of MetaMask or Phantom, the UX was sterile, clunky, and heavy on oversight. It’s clear these tools are built for control, not community—and while governments may push them hard, I’m betting decentralized chains will still be where freedom finds its footing.CBDCs are getting pushed hard by governments globally.
Crypto purists hate them. But here’s the question:
- Will CBDCs kill private coins through regulation and compliance?
- Or will decentralized chains offer the freedom that wins long-term?
Has anyone tried a CBDC wallet yet? How was the UX compared to MetaMask or Phantom?
Let’s talk future control, freedom, and finance.
