Fundamental Analysis

Fundamental Analysis is an analytic way of measuring or determining the intrinsic value of a security by looking into several economic and financial factors or anything that can affect a security’s value.

Fundamental Analysis provides investors significant valuation that can be used to compare to a security’s current price; thus, determining whether the security is undervalued or overvalued.

Opposite to this stock analysis method is Technical analysis, as the latter deals with projecting the direction of prices as a result of analyzing historical market data including volume and price.
